Kick off the 2017 season at NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Enjoy free admission and experience the history and heritage of NASCAR through our unique and interactive exhibits. You’ll also have the opportunity to see some of your favorite NASCAR drivers, NASCAR Hall of Famers and other special guests for Q&A and autograph sessions throughout the day.

NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2017 Autograph Session

Location: High Octane Theater

The NASCAR Hall of Fame will host the Class of 2017 for a members-only autograph session in the High Octane Theater.

2017 NASCAR FAN APPRECIATION DAY GENERAL FAQ

Q. How can I secure tickets to NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day?

A. There are no advance tickets needed for admission to NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day. Fans will be let into the NHOF free of charge on Jan. 21 on a first-come, first-served basis. Driver autograph sessions require a ticket for participation, which will be available online.

Q. How can I get autographs at NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day?

A. Free tickets for driver autograph sessions are available on nascarhall.com starting on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. ET. There are seven autograph sessions to choose from, each featuring three drivers. Each fan can secure up to two tickets for only one of the seven autograph sessions (one ticket for an individual or two tickets for an individual and their guest).

Please note, any guests who sign up for more than one autograph session will be dropped from any session they register for following the first session they selected. (For example, if a guest signs up for Session 5 and then Session 2, they will be dropped from Session 2 and only receive wristbands for Session 5.)

All fans with driver autograph session tickets will need to pick up a wristband for admission into the driver autograph lines. Fans may pick up their wristbands by presenting their ticket at the Will Call booth outside the main entrance of the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. up to an hour and a half (90 minutes) before their driver autograph session begins.

Queues for each autograph session will begin forming one hour (60 minutes) prior to the session.

Q. How many items can I get autographed?

A. Each fan can have one item autographed per driver (there are three drivers per session).

Q. Where is the driver autograph appearance ticket Will Call located?

A. Fans may pick up their driver autograph session tickets at the Will Call booth outside the main entrance of the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Tickets will be distributed beginning an hour and a half (90 minutes) before the driver autograph session begins.

Q. When can I get in line for my driver autograph session?

A. Fans can get in line one hour (60 minutes) prior to the start of the session. Please be sure to have your wristband on prior to getting in line.

Q. I forgot my ticket, does that mean I can’t get an autograph?

A. Fans that do not print their ticket or are unable to present it on their mobile device will be able to verify their registration at the Will Call booth outside the main entrance of the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Q. Are we able to bring our children into the autograph session without a wristband?

A. Anyone who is 10 years or older must have a wristband to enter the autograph session line. 

Q. Will there be NASCAR Hall of Famers at NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day?

A. Yes, several NASCAR Hall of Famers will be participating in events throughout NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day.

Q. Do I need a ticket to get an autograph from a NASCAR Hall of Famer? 

A. No, NASCAR Hall of Famer autograph sessions are separate from the current driver sessions and do not require a ticket. However, the NASCAR Hall of Famer autograph session is open to NASCAR Hall of Fame members only. Learn more about becoming a NASCAR Hall of Fame member here.

There will be an opportunity to receive an autograph from Class of 2017 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Richard Childress during the 9:30 a.m. driver autograph session (Session 1) with Ty Dillion and Austin Dillion.

Q. Will there be NASCAR NEXT drivers at NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day?

A. Yes, several NASCAR NEXT drivers will be participating in events throughout NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day.

Q. Do I need a ticket to get an autograph from a NASCAR NEXT driver?

A. No, NASCAR NEXT driver autograph sessions are separate from the other driver sessions and do not require a ticket.

Q. I have previously signed up for a driver autograph session. What are the session times?

A. Below are the driver autograph session times.

Q. Why isn’t driver X participating in NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day?

A. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers will be participating in NASCAR Hall of Fame events throughout 2017. We feel this approach will give more fans the opportunity to see their favorite drivers at several NASCAR Hall of Fame events this year.  


DRIVER AUTOGRAPH TICKETING PROCESS FAQ

Q. How can I get a ticket for a driver autograph session?

A. Free tickets for the autograph sessions will be available on nascarhall.com starting Saturday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. ET. There are seven autograph sessions to choose from, each featuring three drivers. Each fan can secure up to two tickets to only one of the seven autograph sessions.

Q. When will tickets be available?

A. Tickets will be available starting on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. ET.

Q. Are there any tickets that will be released prior to Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. ET?

A. No. All tickets will be held until Saturday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. ET.

Q. Can I call in to NASCAR Hall of Fame or Ticketmaster to reserve/book driver autograph session tickets?

A. No. All tickets must be secured online via your computer, tablet or mobile device.

Q. In the past, I was able to get multiple drivers’ autographs. Why is it different this year?

A. NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day is a different event than previous year’s NASCAR Preview or NASCAR Acceleration Weekend. This format allows more fans to meet their favorite drivers and receive autographs.

Q. How will I get my ticket for the autograph session?

A. You will be able to print your ticket at home, use Will Call or save it on your mobile device. Tickets are unique and will be scanned upon entrance.

Q. Do I need to create an account/login in order to get a ticket for an autograph session?

A. Yes, an account/login is required to secure your tickets to the autograph session. Please visit: https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/nhof/EN/account/login to create an account/login before tickets are available to help expedite the ticketing process. Once an autograph session ticket is in the checkout cart, users will need to complete the transaction process. Tickets in the checkout cart are only held for a short period of time. If the checkout process is not completed within the amount of time provided, the autograph session ticket will be released.

Q. The driver autograph session I want to attend is showing “SOLD OUT” – what are my options?

Once a driver autograph session is sold out, there are no more tickets available for that session. Fans still interested in attending a driver autograph session may attend to receive a ticket at the NASCAR Hall of Fame standby line.

Fans in the standby line are not guaranteed tickets for any driver appearance. The standby line is first come, first served for ALL driver autograph sessions. Fans in the standby line will not be given the option of choosing a specific driver/driver session – they will be directed into the first driver line available when any driver autograph space opens.

The standby line will form outside of the Crown Ballroom in the lobby space (access from Level 3 of Hall).

Q: What time does the standby line open?

The NASCAR Hall of Fame opens at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 21 for Fan Appreciation Day and all related events.

Q. I’m a NASCAR Hall of Fame member, will I have a special ticketing time or automatically receive tickets to a driver autograph session?

A. No, NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day event is put on in partnership with NASCAR and is open to the public. As a result, NASCAR Hall of Fame members will need to complete the online process for a ticket to one of the seven autograph sessions. However, there is a members-only autograph session with NASCAR Hall of Famers from previous classes on Friday, Jan. 20, along with other members-only opportunities. Q:  I was not able to secure a ticket online. Will I still be able to attend one of the autograph sessions?

A:  Unfortunately, the autograph sessions are limited capacity and fill up quickly. No additional ticket will be distributed prior to the event. However, there will be a standby line on-site where fans can wait to see if there are no shows. Guests will be permitted to participate in the next available opportunity based on the order they are lined up. Guests may also re-enter the standby line as many times as they want.

Q: What will happen if there is inclement weather on the NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day? Will the events still take place?

A: The safety of our fans and drivers is our number one priority, and we will assess any changes to the NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day programming on a case-by-case basis. Should an incident occur that requires a programming change, we will communicate any updates as quickly as possible via our social media channels and website.
