Dale Earnhardt Jr’s #3 Wrangler Chevrolet Impala

Final Weeks! On Exhibit Now.

Earnhardt Jr.

Through a joint effort between JR Motorsports, Richard Childress Racing, Dale Earnhardt Inc., and Wrangler, Dale Earnhardt Jr. paid tribute to his father’s induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame by driving the No. 3 Wrangler Chevrolet Impala to a win in the July NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway. The sight of the familiar blue and yellow Chevrolet leading the pack, fans holding up three fingers in the air, and at the end of it all a No. 3 atop the leaderboard will forever remain in the minds of all who saw it unfold. For Dale Earnhardt Jr, it was a fitting honor to his father and to his father’s fans.

This race was only the second time Earnhardt Jr. drove for car owner Richard Childress. His father, Dale Earnhardt, won 6 of his 7 NASCAR Winston (now Sprint) Cup Championships with the successful car owner. This car led the last 32 laps of the race to take the checkered flag.
