Hall of Honor Sneak Peek Contest – Week 4

WEEK 4 ARTIFACT REVEAL: David Pearson’s racing helmet

This week’s artifact reveal was David Pearson’s racing helmet. This helmet was used in the final years of his amazing driving career. The sponsor seen on this helmet, Chattanooga Chew, was a smokeless tobacco product that teamed up with Pearson in 1982 continued sponsorship through 1986. Pearson racked up three Top 5 finishes, 11 Top 10s and 3 poles in those races. He finished his career with 105 wins (second on the all-time list), three championships and 113 poles. See this and all new-exhibit displays in the Hall of Honor on Tuesday, May 24.

Follow our weekly Hall of Honor Sneak Peek Contest on Facebook (www.facebook.com/nascarhall). The contest gives guests a chance to get an exclusive preview into five artifacts before they debut along with all-new of Hall of Honor artifacts on Tuesday, May 24.

RULES OF THE GAME:

Every Monday, we’ll post an image and question on our Facebook page. The image may be close up, blurred or in puzzle pieces. It may call for an eye for detail, a discerning eye or it may just be a lucky guess that gets the bull’s eye! Be the first to guess the pictured item and correct answer and WIN TWO TICKETS to the NASCAR Hall of Fame!

If you don’t guess it on day one, we’ll repost a clearer version of the image every day until someone guesses it correctly. For example, if it’s a close up, day two’s picture will be more zoomed out. And we’ll continue to zoom out until a correct answer is posted.

No worries if you’re not the first to give the correct answer. All correct answers posted before the Hall officially closes the contest of the week will automatically be included in a random drawing for two tickets to the Induction Ceremony! Winner to be chosen the week of May 16, following the final artifact reveal.

A new game starts each week, Monday, April 18, April 25, May 2, May 9 and May 16. Like us on Facebook and try your chance at winning two tickets to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
