Artifacts and Artifact Donations

How many artifacts are on display?
More than 1000 artifacts are showcased at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in addition to more than 50 interactive exhibits,  racing simulators, educational films and more.
How often do you change the exhibits?
The Hall of Honor will be updated annually. We plan on updating the Great Hall exhibits twice a year and Glory Road once every two years. Throughout the NASCAR Hall of Fame, we will rotate in new artifacts to provide an ever-changing exhibit and facility experience.
How are Inductees honored in the Hall of Honor?
Each Inductee is highlighted via an artifact display, as well as a platform for a car or other large artifact. Each Inductee also receives a spire, which is a seven-foot-tall stainless steel sculpture that incorporates a video monitor, two different  engravings of the Inductee, and an engraved biography. Each Inductee also is featured in a 360-degree, video presentation and a digital, touch-screen database.
Once the new classes of Inductee exhibits are installed in the Hall of Honor, how will the previous Inductees be represented?
The spires permanently will be installed in an outer ring that encircles the Hall of Honor. Each Inductees' information also will remain in the Hall of Honor Directory which is a digital, touch-screen database.
Where do all of the artifacts come from?
Most of the artifacts that are on display are on loan from a variety of lenders including teams, racing icons, NASCAR, collectors, and other institutions. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is building its own collection. For more information, visit the Artifact Donation page.
What does the NASCAR Hall of Fame collect?
The NASCAR Hall of Fame collects artifacts that tell the story of NASCAR. This includes items related to specific individuals, tracks, shops, competition and the fan experience. For more information, visit the Artifact Donation page.
How much is my artifact worth?

The NASCAR Hall of Fame does not employ certified appraisers, and are unable to valuate items.

Do you buy items for display?
No. We rely upon donations or loans.
