The 2011 Induction festivities began on May 18 with the Induction Dinner. This magnificent event took place in the Charlotte Convention Center’s Crown Ballroom at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and was highlighted by special presentations featuring 2011 Inductees: Bobby Allison, Ned Jarrett, Bud Moore, David Pearson and Lee Petty. This grand dinner was attended by the Inductees and their families, NASCAR industry executives and local officials, among countless other celebrities. American musician and recording artist, Edwin McCain, also treated dinner guests to a private concert.
