Induction Process 2012

Nomination/Induction Criteria

For drivers, individuals must have competed in NASCAR for 10 years and be retired from racing for a minimum of three (3) years. Nominees/Inductees may compete in an unlimited number of non-NASCAR sanctioned races and in no more than five (5) NASCAR-sanctioned races on an annual basis in a series where they did not spend the majority of their career.

For non-drivers, individuals must have worked at least 10 years in the industry. (Potential candidates with shorter careers may be considered under special circumstances).

The Class of 2012 was announced live on SPEED on June 14 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C and will be inducted in January 2012. The 2011 class, which includes David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Ned Jarrett, Lee Petty, and Bud Moore will be enshrined at the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Monday, May 23.
