Event Description:
New Location! Bigger Rink! Better Views! WBT’s Holiday on Ice is everyone’s favorite holiday tradition and it returns to Uptown Charlotte with a new location on Ceremonial Plaza at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Skating under the stars just got better with more than 7000 square feet of ice and an incredible view of the city skyline. Skate, drink hot chocolate and celebrate the holidays with us, the best way to bring families together this season. Skating will cost $10 per person and $2 for skate rental. Season passes are also available. Group events for outings, birthday parties, holiday parties or friendly get-togethers may be eligible for discounts.
As part of our partnership with the NASCAR Hall of Fame, look for a special dual access ticket that provides admission to the Hall and Ice Skating for just $25.
Special events this year include live shows with WBT Hosts, Skating with Santa, Christmas Carolers, A Hand Bell Choir, Learn to Skate Nights, Premium Give Away Nights, Home School Day, and many more special events. Learn more at www.holidayonicecharlotte.com.
Outdoor ice skating this year is made possible from our friends at Piedmont Natural Gas and Time Warner Cable. The rink opens to the public at 5:00pm, Tuesday, November 22. Holiday on Ice celebrates its eighth year for the great holiday tradition. Ceremonial Plaza at the NASCAR Hall of Fame is located at 400 E. Martin Luther King Blvd., at the corner of Brevard St.
Open Thanksgiving week as follows: Tuesday, 11/22 – 5pm-10pm, Wednesday through Saturday (including Thanksgiving Day) 10am-10pm, and Sunday, 11/27 11am – 7pm. Standard hours of operation are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5pm – 10pm, Saturday 10am – 10pm and Sunday, 10am – 7pm unless otherwise noted. Extended hours begin when school is out.
