The refreshed exhibit offers visitors a glimpse into the development of the new car, which took place at Ford’s Dearborn Design Center and at the Ford Performance Technical Center in Concord, North Carolina. Inside NASCAR provides guests with a deep dive into the process of NASCAR, from car design to race day, and the addition of Ford’s Next Gen Mustang further elevates the continued innovation taking place throughout the sport. The display is now open and available for guests to see and experience year-round.
Highlights of the display include a Next Gen Mustang that was used during the testing phase of development, along with a clay model that Ford produced as an additional tool to gain approval from Ford leadership and ensure the race car had the same unique Mustang characteristics as the production model.
