HAULIN': 25 YEARS OF
8 of the most iconic trucks from 25 year history of the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series will be on display at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
FEATURING 8 TOUGH TRUCKS
NASCAR introduced the Truck Series in 1994 and it became an immediate success.
Sanctioned off-road truck racing had been going on for decades when a small group of Southern California racers pitched NASCAR on the idea of racing pickup trucks on paved oval tracks. After NASCAR Chairman Bill France Jr. signed off on the idea in late 1992, the NASCAR SuperTruck Series (now the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series) was born.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame pays tribute to the tough trucks and even tougher racers who made this series such a success with our new exhibit; Haulin': 25 Years of NASCAR Trucks featuring eight actual race trucks, audio, photos and artifacts.
Mike Skinner won the championship in 1995.
Kyle Busch has the most Truck Series wins all-time.
Todd Bodine is a 2-time series champion.
Cole Custer came up through the Truck ranks and is now in the Cup Series.
