NASCAR Hall of Fame Fuels Up for Race Weekend in Charlotte

Highlights include a new exhibit, special programming, extended hours and more

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 5, 2026) – October Race Weekend in Charlotte brings nonstop energy and excitement for motorsports fans and visitors. Leading into the Bank of America 400 on Oct. 11 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is ramping up with special programming, hands-on activities and an exhibit unveiling, offering both longtime fans and first-time visitors new ways to connect with the sport and celebrate its rich history.

“Charlotte race weekend always brings added energy and opportunities to engage with so many race fans.” said Winston Kelley, Executive Director of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. “Every day our team is fueled by the energy of our guests, and we are especially excited about the programs we have for our guests this week and throughout the fall.”

“Kyle Busch: Honoring a Legacy:” Exhibit opens October 9
Kyle Busch, one of NASCAR’s most accomplished drivers, is being honored at the NASCAR Hall of Fame with a new exhibit celebrating his 25-year career and lasting impact on the sport. Titled “Kyle Busch: Honoring A Legacy,” the exhibit highlights his achievements, including two NASCAR Cup Series championships and a record 234 wins across NASCAR’s three national series. His career total includes 63 Cup Series wins, a record 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series wins and 69 Craftsman Truck Series victories. On display is his No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry from his 2015 Cup Series championship season, along with videos and stories of his on-track success and broader impact on the sport, including his role as a mentor and team owner through Kyle Busch Motorsports. Road to Induction: Special Programming on October 10
Celebrate the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2027 — Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick and Larry Phillips — during this immersive program in the Hall’s High Octane Theater. Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at how artifacts are selected, with a featured car representing each inductee, plus a class ring design activity and a hands-on trophy puzzle. Kids Go Free on Fall Family STEM Days: October 24–25
Families can explore the science behind racing during Fall STEM Days at the Hall. Interactive activities inspired by Team Penske highlight aerodynamics, physics, chemistry and design. Youth admission is free with the purchase of a paid adult ticket at the Hall’s box office. Learn more here.

Homestead-Miami Race Viewing Party: November 8
Watch NASCAR action from Homestead-Miami Speedway on the big screen at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The 278-seat High Octane Theater features a 64-foot curved projection screen, surround sound and in-car camera feeds from two drivers, delivering an immersive race-day experience. General admission tickets are $10 and free for members, with food, soft drinks, beer and wine available for purchase.

Class of 2027 Induction Tickets on Sale
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is set to induct the Class of 2027 — Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick and Larry Phillips — on Jan. 22, 2027. Lesa France Kennedy will receive the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR, and Jim Foster has been named the 2027 Squier-Hall Award recipient for NASCAR Media Excellence.
