NASCAR HALL OF FAME INDUCTION WEEKEND SCHEDULE AND MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

Red Carpet Arrivals, Class of 2018 Induction Ceremony, NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day and more

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 18, 2018) – The NASCAR Hall of Fame has a full lineup of Induction activities Friday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, Jan. 20 in Charlotte, North Carolina, including multiple media opportunities throughout the weekend.

On Friday, Jan. 19, the ninth annual NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place, honoring the Class of 2018—Red Byron, Ray Evernham, Ron Hornaday Jr., Ken Squier and Roberts Yates—as well as Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR recipient Jim France and Squier-Hall Award for NASCAR Media Excellence recipient Norma "Dusty" Brandel. As in previous years, current Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series stars will help present each inductee. Scheduled to present at this year’s Induction Ceremony are seven-time premier series champion Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Austin Dillon and Ty Dillon. And on Saturday, Jan. 20, NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day returns with free admission to the Hall for fans and autograph and Q&A sessions with current drivers throughout the day. NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day Ends

In addition to the exciting weekend of Induction activities and NASCAR Fan Appreciation Day, fans and visitors can view several updated exhibits. The Memorable Moments exhibit located in the High Octane Theater Lobby was updated with history-making artifacts from the 2017 NASCAR season. The Hall of Honor, where the NASCAR Hall of Fame inductees are enshrined, has been updated to feature the Class of 2018, while the Champions exhibit, Landmark Award Plaque and Squier-Hall Award exhibit have been updated to feature the current winners.

General admission tickets to the NASCAR Hall of Fame can be purchased by calling 877-231-2010 or at nascarhall.com. Admission is $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and military, $12 for children 5-12 and free for children younger than 5. Memberships are available starting at $125.
