Holidays at the Hall kicks into high gear through Jan. 7

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 30, 2017) –The NASCAR Hall of Fame is gearing up for the season with a full lineup of magical events and festive fun during Holidays at the Hall, which runs through Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018. Perfect for a date night, a family ice skating session or an outing with friends, Holiday on Ice has become a beloved tradition in Charlotte. Skaters and non-skaters alike will want to have their pictures taken with our giant polar bear, under our 39-foot-tall tree or in the Ceremonial Garden decorated with thousands of glimmering holiday lights. And don’t miss holiday-themed merchandise, like a Christmas lights glow necklace from the ice rink souvenir stand and snacks and hot cocoa from the concessions hut. Admission is $10 if you bring your own skates and $14 with skate rental.

MAGICAL MORNING: A SENSORY-FRIENDLY SANTA EXPERIENCE

Sunday, Dec. 17

New this year, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is offering a special sensory-friendly event for families living with autism or special needs. The NASCAR Hall of Fame elves have worked hard to create an environment where kids can be themselves. Each child will have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus in an atmosphere that is calming and quiet. No loud music or flashing lights here. Plus with pre-scheduled Santa times, there is little to no wait. This event also includes crafts and the opportunity to watch a Christmas movie in the High Octane Theater with the lights up and the sound down. Magical Morning takes place from 8 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $15 for the whole family.

UNDECK THE HALL
Tuesday, Dec. 26
Saint Nick may have come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the gift giving is over! Join us the morning after Christmas as we "Undeck" the Hall. Fans are each permitted to select a gift off the many trees decorated with NASCAR-themed items like autographed souvenirs, die-cast cars, race tickets, apparel and gear, sheet metal and more. Like years before, there will even be secret surprises hidden on the trees. Doors open at 10 a.m., and the fun continues until all of the gifts are gone. Each year a line forms early in the morning outside the NASCAR Hall of Fame, so fans are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection. The event is free with paid admission to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

GIFTS FOR THE GEAR HEAD

'Tis the season to buy gifts for fellow NASCAR Fans. Wrap up something nice from our Gear Shop, or splurge on tickets to the Class of 2018 Induction Ceremony, which takes place Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. Better yet, give the gift of NASCAR all year long with a membership to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Through Dec. 25, memberships purchased are 20 percent off on all membership levels; plus, members will receive a free gift.
