Be a Hero for Kids
Calling all thrill seekers, community advocates and everyday heroes!
You’re invited to take part in the fifth annual Over the Edge Charlotte – a signature fundraising event for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Foundation. Join us as we work to give students in our students in the community who are most in need with a competitive edge.
The first 75 individual fundraisers to raise a minimum of $1,000 will earn a spot to go Over the Edge! Click here to sign up.
When: Friday, October 6, 2023 starting at 10 a.m.
Who: We’re looking for “Edgers” of all ages and abilities – all you need is enough bravery to take that first step “Over the Edge” for a great cause.
What: Get ready to catch your breath, step up to the edge and rappel 10 stories down the Embassy Suites Charlotte Uptown.
Why: The funds raised will go toward the NASCAR Hall of Fame Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission includes providing students (pre-K through 12th grade) access to learning opportunities that harness our sport’s longstanding tradition of winning through innovation. The Foundation works to ensure those students have a competitive edge that best equips them for life and drives their future success. Every $20 donation brings a child into the NASCAR Hall of Fame for a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.

- 9:45 a.m. Kickoff with Creative Mornings
- 11 a.m. - Noon Jeremiah’s Ice - first 100 guests get a free sample size
- 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Food Trucks
- Noon - 1 p.m. Tif’s Treats - Free cookies for the first 150 guests
- 1 - 2 p.m. NASCAR Hour
- 1 - 4 p.m. Body Armor booth/tasting
- 3 - 4:30 p.m. Appetizers/more handheld food
