We’ve rewritten our protocols to a standard we call “We Clean with Care” which translates to rigorous measures involving sanitizing and disinfecting our venues with increased frequency and implementing new personal safety best practices.

Cleaning Frequency icon

Cleaning crews have increased cleaning frequency with special attention provided to high-touch areas (elevator buttons, stair handrails, etc.)

High-Touch Areas icon

Electrostatic/disinfectant sprayers will be used in high-touch areas including, but not limited to, the High Octane Theater, racing simulators, Pit Crew Experience and Legends Room.

Cleaning Supplies icon

Color-coordinated microfiber cloths are being used with a disinfectant cleaning solution to eliminate cross-contamination in high-touch areas.

Hand Sanitizer icon

Dozens of hand sanitizer stations have been installed strategically throughout the building in high trac areas.

Restocking icon

Cleanliness patrols are being implemented throughout the venue to disinfect high-touch areas throughout the day and checking that all soap and sanitizer dispensers are full.

Restrooms icon

Foot claws have been installed on all restroom doors for hands-free use.

Training icon

All team members have gone through required training sessions to understand and implement these modied procedures and sanitation practices to ensure the health of both guests and employees.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame has received the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ Facility Accreditation, making it one of the first facilities in North Carolina to earn this distinction. The GBAC STAR™ accreditation program is the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation. The Hall has demonstrated compliance with and commitment to the program's 20 core elements. Program elements range from standard operating procedures and risk assessment strategies to personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency preparedness measures.

What are the NASCAR Hall of Fame’s hours? icon

The NASCAR Hall of Fame is open Wednesday through Monday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

What measures is the NASCAR Hall of Fame taking to provide for guests’ safety? icon

Our enhanced safety measures include, but are not limited to:

  • Routine cleaning of all high touch point locations.
  • Complimentary stylus pens are available upon request to help accommodate no-touch interactions with the Hall’s various touch-screen exhibits.
  • New hand sanitizing stations and wipe stations throughout the venue.

Are face coverings/masks required? icon

As CDC and NCDHHS guidelines and precautions continue to evolve, the NASCAR Hall of Fame team is adjusting protocols accordingly. The Mecklenburg County mask mandate has been lifted as of 2/26/22. Masks are no longer required at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. As we navigate this ever-evolving health & safety landscape, please have patience with our NASCAR Hall of Fame team members and your fellow guests.

Is there a limit on the number of people I can bring in my group? Is there a limit the number of people allowed in the Hall at one time? icon

The NASCAR Hall of Fame is operating at 100 percent capacity, in accordance with the state’s lifted capacity limitation.

Group tickets can be purchased at this time. For larger group reservations (groups of 10 or more), please contact us directly at 704-654-4400 or 888-902-6463 to make arrangements.

Can I purchase tickets to the NASCAR Hall in person at the box office? icon

Yes, however we’re strongly encouraging guests to purchase advance tickets prior to their visit and take advantage of mobile ticketing options. We ask you please send one member of your party through the line and observe social distancing.

What if I’m not feeling well, but have purchased tickets in advance? icon

If you have a fever, are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to anyone else with symptoms within a two-week period prior to your visit, we ask that you please plan to visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame at a later date. A member of our Team will be happy to assist you with rebooking your tickets and any other questions you may have. Can I transfer my ticket date? icon

Yes. To transfer your ticket to a different date, please call us at 704-654-4400 or 888-902-6463.

Will I still be able to use a Hard Card during my visit? icon

Yes, Hard Card interactive experiences are still available. All guests will be provided a Hard Card and one complimentary stylus pen per family. Hand sanitizer stations have been installed at Hard Card Registration and near Hard Card kiosks throughout the NASCAR Hall.

Are the driving simulators open? icon

Yes, the driving simulators are open.

Is the Gear Shop open? icon

Yes, the Gear Shop is open to guests. We ask that guests do not try on apparel, however a store associate will be able to assist.

Will I still be able to take and purchase a keepsake photo during my visit? icon

Yes Magic Memories photos will be taken onsite and are for sale in the Gear Shop, however no props (such as flags, gloves, helmets) will be available for use.

Is there anywhere to eat/drink at the NASCAR Hall? Can I bring my own food/drink? icon

Water fountains are currently shut off at the Hall, however bottles of water may be purchased at the Gear Shop or at the Pit Stop Café. The Pit Stop Café is currently open to guests with additional sanitation and cleaning protocols. Buffalo Wild Wings is open to the public for both carry out and dine-in service with limited seating. Guests may enter the restaurant through the NASCAR Hall of Fame or through its entrance on Brevard St.

No food or drink may be brought into the Hall.

Pre-arranged groups may eat outside in the Ceremonial Garden (via Theater lobby to not interfere with limited capacity in main lobby) during scheduled times. No food may come into the building and should be left on buses or in cars.

Are there any changes to parking? icon

Guests to the NASCAR Hall will have access to the NASCAR Hall of Fame parking garage at located at 500 S. Brevard St. or the parking lot at 501 S. Caldwell St.
