NASCAR Hall of Fame Revs up with Special Programming During October Race Weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 1, 2025) – October Race Weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway is one of the most electrifying times of the year for motorsports fans. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is gearing up with exciting programs and interactive experiences for members, families and visitors of all ages leading up to the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 on October 5. From hands-on activities to special events, the Hall will bring the energy and excitement of race weekend straight to the heart of Uptown Charlotte.

“Charlotte Race Weekend is a special opportunity for the NASCAR Hall of Fame to celebrate the sport’s rich heritage and create unforgettable experiences for our guests," said Winston Kelley, Executive Director of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. "Our programming celebrates the Class of 2026, and our exclusive exhibits highlight the remarkable achievements of the Wood and Earnhardt families. Hands-on activities give families a fun, engaging way to explore the sport together during race weekend and throughout the month.”

Highlighted below are the Hall’s special events and exhibits for October Race Weekend and beyond.

ROAD TO INDUCTION: OCTOBER 4 
Celebrate NASCAR Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026 with Inductees Kurt Busch and Harry Gant during this immersive two-hour program in the High Octane Theater at the Hall. A dynamic fan engagement experience with the 2026 Inductees will feature video highlights and a Q&A session. Guests can test their knowledge and win prizes during a fun trivia contest after the program. Learn more.

FIVE GENERATIONS OF EARNHARDT RACING EXHIBIT: NOW OPEN

NASCAR has long been rooted in Earnhardt family tradition, and the new exhibit at NASCAR Hall of Fame offers a look at one of the sport’s most iconic racing families spanning five generations. On display are 17 firesuits, a crew shirt and a uniform, ranging from Ralph Earnhardt’s 1960s Firestone firesuit to Brylon Earnhardt’s 2024 go-kart gear. Guests can snap a photo with historic artifacts like Dale Earnhardt Sr.’s legendary Goodwrench firesuit and Dale Jr.’s iconic Budweiser firesuit. This multi-generational exhibit is a can’t-miss experience for any NASCAR enthusiast.

WOOD BROTHERS 75TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBIT: NOW OPEN
This Great Hall exhibit celebrates the 75th anniversary of Wood Brothers Racing, honoring its legendary on-track achievements, groundbreaking innovations, deep ties to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and enduring legacy of multi-generational family leadership. The Wood Brothers Racing team story combines the original vision of Glenn Wood (Class of 2012) with the technological genius of younger brother Leonard Wood (Class of 2013). Founded in 1950, Wood Brothers Racing holds the distinction of being NASCAR’s longest continuously operating team.

LAS VEGAS RACE VIEWING PARTY: OCTOBER 12 
Experience every lap of the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the Race Viewing Party in the High Octane Theater at the Hall. Fans can enjoy the race on a massive 64-foot-wide curved projection screen, complete with surround sound and direct-from-track in-car video feeds that capture the full intensity of the NASCAR Playoffs. KIDS GO FREE WEEKEND and FALL STEAM FAMILY DAYS: OCTOBER 25–26 
Families are invited to enjoy a weekend of fun, learning and hands-on activities during an exciting family-focused weekend at the Hall. Kids Go Free Weekend (youth admission is free with a paid adult ticket) is the perfect opportunity for families to explore the Hall together, celebrate inductees in the Hall of Honor and engage with interactive and competitive exhibits. As part of the experience, families can also celebrate National Science Month and complete a special passport that explores STEAM through NASCAR. Participate in one, a few or all five hands-on STEAM learning sessions that apply science to NASCAR and your everyday life. CLASS OF 2026 INDUCTION TICKETS ON SALE 
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is set to induct the Class of 2026 – Kurt Busch, Harry Gant and Ray Hendrick – on Jan. 23, 2026. In addition, the late Humpy Wheeler was named the recipient of the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR, and Deb Williams will receive the 2026 Squier-Hall Award for NASCAR Media Excellence.   • Friday, Oct. 3: 10 a.m.– 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 4: 9 a.m.– 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 5: 9 a.m.– 5 p.m.

All October Race Weekend events are included with a NASCAR Hall of Fame general admission ticket or membership. Tickets to the NASCAR Hall of Fame may be purchased online at nascarhall.com or in-person. Admission is $27 for adults, $24 for seniors with ID, $20 for military with ID, $20 for youth ages 4 to 12 and free for members and children younger than 3. High-octane combo packages are also available. All prices include tax.
