Energy: Multi-Universe In Racing
Grade Levels: 6-8
Data collection through experiential learning, model building and engineering
Program Description: Energy is neither created nor destroyed — it is transferred from one form to another and allows an object to do work. Students will conduct a series of experiments to explore different forms of energy in racing, how energy is transferred, and collect data to describe the relationship between kinetic energy and the mass and speed of their race car.
