Science, Forces and Motion

Special Considerations: Includes hands-on car build that students may take back to school or home to continue exploring forces.

Program Description: A race car is an object, and objects need a force to move and change their position. Students will explore how everyday objects move with push-and-pull forces. Students will participate in two different experiments to learn about objects and movement, including creating a simple machine to explore the movement and changes in position caused by push-and-pull forces. Students will take their race car with them to further explore the science in the classroom and at home.
