Special Considerations: Combines informational text reading with a hands-on engineering challenge.
Program Description: NASCAR has more than 75 years of legends, heroes and innovators who have left a permanent impact on the sport. Students will discuss and explore what makes someone a legend, hero and innovator and will learn about one such individual from NASCAR. Students will design and build a race car inspired by this individual.
