Program Description: Weather systems and changes in air masses can greatly affect a race outcome, making engineering models and designs an important part of a race team's race-day strategy. Students will review weather and Earth systems that impact racing, including track surface, temperature and air masses. Students will build scale models to test theories of impact and measure the results to use data to make a race day decision for their car.
